| The Ocean label, though not often seen, has
in fact been around for quite some time. Firstly in 1970, again in
its second coming in 1972, and lastly in 1975. Some of the few Ocean
tracks I have heard are such massive recordings as Can't
You Understand by Larry Marshall, which was backed with
a wicked King Tubby mix Locks of Dub,
and re-releases such as Wet Dream and Cute Man both by
Max Romeo.
In true Pama style, Ocean was at best, an erratic
label with little output but what was released was of a (mostly)
high standard. |
